Veneers are thin porcelain coverings over the front of the teeth. These can be very useful in cases of darkly stained teeth, as well as gaps and misalignment of teeth.

Dr. Heck uses 2 types of veneers. There are prepped veneers where about 3-5mm of the enamel is removed from the teeth, and porcelain veneers, which are bonded in place after the lab fabricates the porcelain.

Recently we have added “Lumineers,” or non prep veneers, to our cosmetic options. Not all cases work well without prepping (removal of tooth structure). Learn more about "Lumineers"
